POST-LOSS CONSTRUCTION

A finished home after the drying is done.

When damaged materials have been removed and the structure is ready, the next challenge is putting the home back together. Renova House Services coordinates the construction scope and the sequence of repairs so the rooms work and feel right again.

THE SCOPE

From exposed surfaces to a room you can use again

A water loss can affect more than the obvious stain. The repair plan should account for the materials removed during mitigation, adjoining finishes, and the order in which trades need to return. We review the actual repair scope before construction begins.

01

Drywall, texture & paint

Close exposed wall and ceiling areas and finish them to suit the surrounding space.

02

Floors, trim & doors

Rebuild the transitions that make a repaired area feel continuous with the home.

03

Cabinets, tile & fixtures

Address affected kitchens and bathrooms where the scope calls for more detailed reconstruction.

OUR APPROACH

How build-back moves forward

A clear scope and a thoughtful sequence help the work move from first conversation to final detail.

01

Review the condition

We identify what was removed, what remains, and which finishes need to be matched or selected.

02

Set the repair scope

We discuss the work, selections, schedule, and any changes before the affected area is rebuilt.

03

Rebuild in sequence

The work moves from substrates and surfaces through cabinetry, flooring, trim, and paint as needed.

04

Walk the finish

We review the finished work with you and identify final details.

GOOD TO KNOW

Mitigation and reconstruction work together

Renova Water & Restoration handles water response, documentation, and drying. Renova House Services focuses on the construction that follows. If you are still dealing with active water or wet materials, start with the restoration team first.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Before we begin.

When can build-back begin?

The affected area should be ready for construction after the mitigation and drying phase. The exact start depends on the condition of the materials, the repair scope, selections, and scheduling.

Can you rebuild a kitchen or bathroom after a loss?

Yes. We can discuss cabinetry, drywall, flooring, tile, paint, and other affected finishes once the repair scope is known.

Will insurance pay for the work?

Coverage is decided by your insurer and policy. We can document and describe the construction scope, but we do not promise a coverage outcome.
